BIO

Proud to be a North Vancouver local, Kelsey attended Handsworth Secondary School where she captained her basketball teams and helped the Royals reach the Provincial tournament each and every year. During the off season, Kelsey trained with teams such as North Shore Reign, North Shore Ice, 3D and North Shore Lions where she constantly practiced the concepts of discipline, hard work, training and commitment. With a lasting love for the sport, Kelsey continues to play for the Kerrisdale Basketball League.

Kelsey’s passion for fitness, health and sports lead her to study Human Kinetics at Capilano College where she actively participated in the program as Vice President of Student Council. Her studies then continued and finished at the University of British Columbia where Kelsey completed an internship with Level 10 Fitness Inc., received her Sports Med BC certification and obtained her degree in Human Kinetics with honours. With her education, Kelsey has helped coach soccer and basketball teams, worked with individual training clients and taught boxing.

Driven by the belief that without a sense of caring, there is no sense of community Kelsey gives back to her own by helping coach numerous Handsworth, 3D and community basketball teams as well as volunteers for the Capilano Community Service Society’s Senior’s Hub Program.
