BIO

Clayton was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba where he attended College Jeanne-Sauvé high school. It was here that he found his love for sport and competition playing both basketball and volleyball throughout his high school career. In his senior year he was the captain of his volleyball team and awarded the sportsmanship award for excellence in competitive spirit and attitude. Later that year went on to play for the Winnipeg Volleyball Club junior team and the Canadian Francophone Games gold medal Volleyball team.

After high school Clayton went on to play for the University of Winnipeg Wesmen Men's Volleyball team where he also continued his love for sport in another capacity, by enrolling in the Athletic Therapy program. After playing for the Wesmen he then went on to work with the volleyball team as the student athletic therapist and in 2007 helped them to their 19th National Championship title. During his university career Clayton obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist designation with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and accumulated countless hours in clinical and field settings working at the U of W and private Athletic Therapy clinics. In addition, he provided therapy for various high school football, basketball, volleyball and soccer teams across Winnipeg. In 2007 he was the student therapist for the Manitoba U16 Boys Provincial Soccer team which competed in the Western Canada Summer Games.

Upon completing university and obtaining his Kinesiology degree, Clayton focused on becoming a skilled strength and conditioning coach in addition to perfecting his rehabilitation skills. In 2008, he completed the national certification process and became a Certified Canadian Athletic Therapist and with the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association. Later on that year he accepted a position with the Vancouver Police Department as the Fitness Coordinator, helping them stay fit, strong and injury free. Following his time with the VPD Clayton joined the team at Level 10 Fitness full time in 2010.
