Our tax dollars at work
I would like to start by thanking all of our loyal readers that have sent positive feedback regarding my most recent article on the cutbacks to BC School Sports. I have attached a link regarding the new addition to the Environment Ministry in Victoria. For those of you that are unaware, the Environment Ministry has included a "work free zone" in their building costing tax payers $138, 000. This facility includes some great toys such as; a Nintendo WII, pool table, ping pong table and my personal favourite-foosball. I have a suggestion for the government: If these employees need some stress relievers from their gruelling 9-5 jobs, why not do as Dr Margaret MacDiarmid says and get some exercise by walking, dancing or playing in the parks?
Check out the link yourself!
